My Dad has a citroen 1.9tdi car and the revs go up to 5,500 max
So I prsume that other Pug diesel tdi do as well
But you can always turn up the pump a little and get an extra couple of hundred ... |

Reading through this again I suddenly realized that fitting a petrol gearbox to a diesel is not the best way of achieving good mpg

about 4 months tax and test left

I have a pug 1.9 n/a in my t25 72 bhp
The motor came from a 305 pug with 90,000 on it
I have a turbo diesel gearbox and it will push the old girl along at 75 mph
At max speed it gives me around 3 ... |

As a diesel engine is limited by the manufacturer to the maximum revs they think it will cope with whilst still being reliable
It stands to reason that flat out for extended periods of time is well ... |

5mm seems pretty thin! i would have thought 10mm at least.
The adaptor plate I have bought is by the pictures designed for a VAG engine to be fitted at 15 degrees only and only fits the larger VAG ... |
