I’m getting nothing at the thick black wire from the fuel pump relay

2.2 out of a 1990 legacy in a 64 splitscreen

So after a resto I’m trying to figure out the engine and I’m having trouble getting it to run.

Wiring loom is new, Subaru loom has been done by N ...

I think it may be sorted, my dad put a brass bleed valve at the front of the rad,

jacked back up and ran it for half hour or so.

I'm at a loss as to whats wrong. (pic below) it keeps over heating and blowing the larger pipe that feeds the rad off.

the red pipes are hot, the blue is only warm, the black is only thin so i cant ...

Right, rad is fine

Any suggestions??

It seems I've got a blockage somewhere in the rad, the side it flows out of doesn't get anywhere near as hot as the in side.

This is basically how my cooling system looks, the pipe to the thermostat from the rad isn't getting hot, do you think it's just a sticking stat?

I "borrowed" the brown label maf off my dads ej22 karmann Ghia. He's part way through a full resto so I have a year or so it find one.

I'm still getting code 35 but it' ...

Right maf issue sorted, swapped it for a brown label one and codes gone....

Now the ecu is flashing

Code 35, wtf is purge circuit????

Any idea what this means? Should the led flash at all if ...

The maf may be the wrong no looking at those threads, think it should be a 190 but is currently a 160.
