ok still having problems finding a suitable gearbox.
I've found a company in the stated that make linkage adaptors for side shift t25 boxes to go into bug frames. so...
loking at the ratios on http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/VehicleSpecific/T3/info/gbx.htm it seems that the turbo diesel 5 speed boxes have longer gearing, that might suit the beetle better.
what does everyone think? would the 5 speed turbo diesel box be better than a 091 waterboxer? |
