gearbox info - prob been asked before!

Hi.

i know its prob been asked before but cant find the info anywhere.

Im going with a subaru ej20 turbo and not sure which gearbox to go for. i cant afford a 091, so whats the next best thing - for fast street use.

looking in the van box direction - are the ratios majorly different???

any advice much appreciated.

are they all type 25 boxes?

what about earlier boxes, like a 1600 CU box? any good??

Let me put it this way, do you want to stick a +200 BHP engine to beetle-box made for 35?.. Wink

Save some money and get a bus box.

a CU box is a bus box...though still the same horsepower.

I've added more T25 ratio's to the table, which will go online when I next upload. I've struggled to find any ratio vs. gearbox code for bay boxes. If anyone knows where there is any, please send a link, and I'll include them too. Thanks.
