Yes. I have Subaru splined input shafts now, but they won't be on the site untill they're tested by Mr Doppelganger.

The fixture for bus exhausts is just about finished, and I need to order the first batch, which I will probably be doing in the next week or two.

sti clutch and flywheel should be in this week with new shaft so it will be in use at bugjam Happy

Cheers Elusive - I didn't know that was there. The basic arrangement is the same on a bus box, excepy you unbolt the bell housing rather than the side plate to gain access to the circlip on the input shaft.
The job is easily DIYable to anyone who maintains their own VW. The most complex it'll get is if you have a diff which is too big a diameter to allow the sleeve to slide far enough along the input shaft. It so, you'l have to slacken the diff side bearing adjusters to allow the diff to move out of the way. Be sure to scribe a mark on them, and count how many turns you unwound them by. As long as you do, you'll easily be able to set the diff up in exactly the same place as it originally was.

The Beetle 'box ring and pinion look like scale models when you're used to seeing bus ones!

While you're here Rich... who makes a nice circlip removal tool for those style circlips (read "feckingcnutbo11oxbstard, sh1tbag", not the nce ones with little holes) ones?
