Hi guys....one more question from Norway.

When i installed my seperate thermostat housing fro Tom shiels (witch works verry well indeed) i got a clearence problem as mu engin mounting consists of a sligtly modified original syncro mounting. (slidingbars and the old trusty "mustage" at the rear.

To get rid of this clearance problem one of my options is to cut off and moove the "moustage". If i cut it off and weld it back on at the underside of the sliding bars the engine would be lifted some 5 cm.... Would this elevation of the engine cause me problems? I should think there are enough room, but if i would risk damage to my gearbox CV joint or gearbox mounting dooing this i would have to come up with a different solution....

So...would it work?
