i've just had my first road test in my van for ages, the best thing i noticed was the improvement in the steering! i've replaced the small shocker on the steering arm (technical i know) with the cheap brazilian model from gsf, such a difference! you need to replace this if you haven't already - the van no longer chooses where it wants to go.........i took my hands off the wheel (safely, in the name of science) and it just went straight! on a bumpy road!
this has been the best improvement i've made, for only £14 and two bolts to fix! do it!

That'll be the steering damper
Interesting that, not something I would consider changing might do that once I'm up and running for a bit so I can appreciate the difference. I'm guessing mine might tram line a bit now I have upgraded to 17" wheels so prob worth replacing at that price.

simple to check to see if any good or not , get under your van and undo one end , then pull and push a few times should go nice n stiff
maybe the other half might be able to do this better _________________ Auto Union Munga Jeep ,T4 2.4td , T4 2.5tdi ,Mercedes S Class on LPG , 66 splity deluxe , GP mk1, 3 type 25s 1 with 1.9dt pug engine + 1 with N/A pug engine ,,there are 6 t25s with pug power in Darlington

Didn't even need to check mine as it fell off when I removed the beam There was just a rusted lump of it left hanging there
Got a nice new one to go back on though.
Have to say I changed the one on my Covin a few years ago and it made a big improvement to the feel of the steering, especially at speed _________________ DARREN
