Got a bit of a problem.... my brand new cylinder doesnt want to pump fluid through

The pedal is giving the cylinder full action yet nothing is coming through?????

Anyone got any thoughts on it.... i took it apart ( as you do ) and wasnt sure if it looks right

if it won't pump, take it back and swap it for another
might help if you could post up a better picture, from that one I couldn't tell if I'm looking at a new cylinder or an old one
