I ve tried to find out about putting an early DK box into a late T25 but got few answers as to how the linkage bars are fitted as in do i have to fit the complete linkage from the lawn mower vans.? I have the linkage rods but they have a different way of being fitted to the chassis etc. Any help would be great . cheers.

i thought they went in the same place, but the early linkage is thinner, so you need different bushes... at the gearbox end it just slides onto the guide "post" above the side-shift.

DK box is shorter, make some spacers for the nose cone end and lengthen the selector rod.

I make an extended front mount for the short early 4 speed boxes such as the DK, which puts the bell housing in the same position as the later 4 and 5 speeds.
