swap wanted...my bay for a t4 caravelle......

very sad day, i have finally admitted to myself that i no longer have the time to keep this member of the family ruby is a 1975 bay window, rhd with factory fitted windows. long mot and short tax, devon moonraker pop top, front seats are high back recaros, mid row of seats are transit twin seats with built in 3 point belts. nice polished merc wheels with as new tyres. right, body panels i have changed in the last few years.....
belly pans x2, jacking points x4. outriggers x4, top hat sections here and there. inner+middle and outer sills, both sides.front wheel arches (including steps) both sides. rear wheel arches, rear corners, front wheel arch closing panels (both sides). rear wheel arch closing panels, front and rear, both sides. battery trays x2. front seat belt anchor point panels x2. rear bootlid is a rust free import panel, as is the the engine lid. all window rubbers replaced as well as the front doors outer chrome trims and inner scrapers.new rear light assemblies and smoked lenses, lots of silly little things added , cab carpets, seat belts etc TOO MUCH TO LIST. i have reciepts for all the panels and parts. all brake pipes changed within the last 8k miles. other bits inc rear brake backing plates, drums, cylinders and shoes, flexi hoses front and rears.new master cylinder fitted last year.

ford 2ltr engine fitted, all new pipes and rad,fans,senders etc. sits at 80 degrees celcius.
if this is not your cup of tea it would be easy to convert back to air cooled. currently popping out approx 125 bhp!
i experimented with roller and brush painting over the last few years, see picks.
i am after a t4 with mid row 3 point belted seats, windows and some degree of comfort. MUST BE A DIESEL. lower mileage the better. straight swap or px with cash my way and t4 must be ready to get in and drive/look tidy. cheers for reading such a long advert to the end. mike.

cheers, ive felt it for maybe a couple of years now truth be told. i thought fitting the new engine would revitalise me a bit but its not just that, 18mnth old lad, new lad due in february, popping out for an "hour" on bus just isnt happening anymore.
