What type of gearbox do you run?

Hey Paul,

bring the following:

Braces
- Socket wrench no 17 (ratel+dop 17), with two lengths of extension ( short and long, so to say)
- Wrench no 17 (steeksleutel 17)
You need these to undo the front brace (like bull horns) and to release the nuts of the upper brace

Axles
- Hexagon key no 6 or 7. Not sure...
- (Socket) Wrench no 10. On my previuous bus, the previous owner tightened the axles with 'ordinary' bolts.

Clutch
- Plumber wrench (waterpomptang), if the clutch cable wing nut doesn't want to come off.

Startermotor, if attached and you want to leave it
- Wrench no 12
- Socket wrench no 14 and 15 (I think it's 14...not sure)

... and of course some extra sizes: you never know what an owner used to bolt his tranny to the bus!

That's about it, I think.
(Did this last week, that's why I remember so distinctly)

Hei Paul,

couple of weeks ago I lay under an ambulance, featuring a 6-rib trans axle. Although the image is not of this van, I arrowed the location of the code. If the transaxle is not painted (like mine) the number should be visible immediately!

Sorry...I made a mistake with the location of the code.
See below for definite proof of where to find it (I went to check the ambulance again)

The operation is going to take place outside, gonna dressup warm and take a good sheet of plastic with me to lay on.
