Helo

I will buy a T3 camper witout engine. Can you help me. Can I buy a 1.9 TDI engine (90HP) and it's possible to fit it into a T3? Which modification I have to do? It's somewhere some guide to do this?

Thank you

Yes, you can do it.
Either you get the diesel parts needed from a broken diesel-T3. Bellhousing, gearbox input shaft, the oil pump (get a new!) and the sump.
Or, you cut of the input shaft and run the TDI standing up.

Google for "Vanagon TDI" and you'll get the picture.

gearbox input shaft...from 1.9 or from T3 1.6 diesel engine? Oil pump from 1.6 diesel?

It's somwhere some description of conversion?

Thank you

There are threads here at the forum and if you do the Google search I recommended you'll find more.[/u]
