I'm running a 1995 19TD 1Z motor in my baja and after 3 years of the british weather entering the alternator it finaly started to sieze.
the only replacement the local breakers had was off a new beetle (1999 on)
this was a 120 amp unit (70 amp comming off) and the only differances are the trigger wiring plug and the pulley is the clutched type
was a straight swap as the mounts were identical
good if your running in a van with a split charge and leisure batteries  |

swapped a 120 amp on to my split but found the 120 amp didnt have a w terminal it was dfm terminal instead so wouldnt run my revcounter so i swapped back to the 90 amp but handy they all swap about
