Early bay upgrade

Sorry guys haven't really kept you up to date with pics,
So heres what i've done since the bottom end went.
New motor with cosworth sump baffel plate fitted,

Gated the sump so oil stays around pick up under hard cornering,

Also made a cable shift conversion,

Fitted a 6 puck helix motorsport clutch disc,

Did the cambelt and fitted these rims i've refurbed 7.5&10x18

Kia i'd like to take a look at the brackets on your g/box for the cable shift cause thats my next project over the winter, where exactly are you? I might pop up at w/end if thats ok?

Been up to santa pod this w/end and after a couple of runs managed a 14.3 1/4, hopefully get a sub 14 this w/end

Thanks mate but only splits in the bwa but have joined the usb which is just for bays that can run under an 18 1/4.

congrats on the Volksworld feature - they never do the work justice or cover enough tech IMO but still Inspirational stuff.....im just getting back into mine after a break so this has spurred me on!!!

Thanks Rich i'll post some pics up when i get chance.
I was really pleased with the feature but as you.ve said they can never actually show the amount of effort or heartache put in to a project.

very good job ! I have a question , what is the temp of your coolant with the rad on this position ? and the flow of your fans ?

I didn t see if you collect air from the front to the rad....

The temp normally sits at 86-87 when on a roads but on motorways at sustained speeds of 70+ ;-) a little higher up to 90ish and the rad is ducted from the front.
