Hi

I have completed most of the wiring but I have some lose ends to tidy up.

The first is a Yellow / Purple + silver spots that originates from the IMM ECU (immobiliser) I have it labelled up as going to "B36 Black Dash connector" but I don't no what purpose it served, so i'm unsure what to do with it?

My other question is what is the best way to connect the existing VW ignition switch into the Subaru wiring loom? Do I connect the 'Start' wire to the Blue and Red Subaru wire connected to the starter motor and ECU? My wiring loom didn't seem to have the Stater Interlock Relay shown in my Legacy Manual?

Thanks
Phil

Is B36 a 20 pole, self coloured connector? If it is, it's Instrument Panel wiring harness. A guess would be a flashing immob light (I'm not putting any money on this)

Please post a photo.

Did you buy the donor car?

You should have put some money on it, you're correct it is the wire to the immob LED, sorted.

Yes I bought the donor car.

Any thoughts on the ignition wiring?

Thanks
Phil

Bugger!

Yes connect the red and blue wire to the VW "start wire" from the key barrel. This wire pack goes to the solonoid.

Don't worry about the interlock if it didn't have one Wink
