I love that rad set up. Looks very slick and doesn't hang down low at all.
Do you have any pictures of it before it was mounted so I can get a better idea of how you did it?
Secondly, what hydro mounts did you use?
Great work!

what's the story with the 1Z ECU, do you need to have it de-immobilised? After that does everything work OK?
and why the new front tranny mount? |

Hi mate, I have kept the factory immobiliser and wired it thru my cobra immobiliser (see cruise controll picture)
The reason for the new nose cone mount is because I,m using a baywindow 091 box rather than the standard swing axel box , there are several ways of mounting these but I wanted to keep it like it fixed in a bay window hence the bracket ......
Yes everything works, I've wired in the diagnostic port and have had vag com hooked up to it and it's not showing any error codes!! I have wired in everything it had when it was in the golf, ie clutch pedal switch and both brake switch circuits, I've also got the low water level sensor working which will flash the small led which I have put in above the temp gauge
The orange light is the glow plug warning light but this also tells you if you have any faults by flashing
