I could not resist it today so turned the key( screwdriver) and it started first time. So in the van it goes!!

I started the engine thread for those with a Ford inclination but you are probably right it is about time to merge the two treads as I feel that I have shown how to graft a Zetec engine onto a VW dub box and that it can be run on its own ECU.

I have just read that it will run throttle bodies and a mild cam before it runs out of range. I wired in the On Board Diagnostic port so it may rechip as well. No time to get deflected on future needs I need to get it on the road. so on to '3 rolls of mig wire' if you want to continue following this thread.

it now runs in the camper!!!!
