| im running a scooby turbo in my t25, now ive been getting gear selection problems in 1st and reverse..i thought it was a selector problem but now when van is ticking over im getting noise/rumbling from rear, pretty sure its not engine coz when i press clutch the noise goes..is there any way to determine if its gearbox is knackered?? or could it be stuck between gears?? it does still drive ok..thanks.. |

Press the clutch and the noise goes...not a g/box fault then.
Adjust clutch, sounds like it may be dragging.
VW boxes are straight cut in reverse to my knowledge (I'll stand corrected on this) and might sound whiny in reverse _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.
