Hi, I put a post on regarding my ej22 16v running lumpy and got lots of useful responses but due to work pressures have had little time to do anything about it, I did email the company that carried out the conversion and he suggested looking at the ecu to see if there was a fault code? I believe it has an led on the ecu which flashes? Can anyone tell me the procedure for checking these codes and also what the codes mean in relation to faults?

Thanks Dan

Should be a set of plugs, two green and two black within your loom. That's if the compaeft that did the loom left them in the loom that is.

Connect the black two together, switch ignition on, then the ecu should communicate via the led. The led should be within your loom and not the actual ecu. Although saying that I read on here another user had a led in the ecu, can't remember if it was giving correct codes or not. Talk to me about Impreza's Laugh Out Loud

Plenty of info on doing this on the web and also what the fault coded mean.

What we most probably all want to know is if you have the plugs to connect together

Being an ej22 I'd assume this is a 90's era engine.
