EJ20 engine. What temperature should it be running at?
It stays at around 75deg C, which seems a bit low to me, even for November in the UK.

have you tested the gauge for accuracy and how quickly does it get to 75c?

There is generally 2 models of thermostats with most EJ engines, one that opens at 77c for cars with A/C and one at 82c for cars without.

Mine has a 77c thermostat and in winter gets there in about 4-5 mins and stays there with normal driving.
it will only come up if it idles for several mins without moving.

If yours has the colder stat that would be pretty normal.
