tttttttttt noise when under load , rough running

when I put my foot down I get a whispery kind of ttttttttttttttttttttt noise.... would this be injector related?
I also get a whiff of petrol now and again after a run but not if its just been sat idling,
MPG also seems to have gone down slightly and it runs quite rough and its vibrating more than usual.

Apart from that, touch wood, it's actually fairly drivable for once

Have you replaced all your fuel tank vent hoses?
Just wondering if air might be leaking out of the tank.
Out of interest, what mpg do you get?

are you running the charcoal canister?

not sure if yours originally runs this or not.

I changed the fuel tank vent system to be exactly as the subaru system with my conversion.

it never whiffs of fuel.


the noise could be just noisey tappets. mines does this when its cold and soon goes away.

is youre noise temperature related or is it constant?
