Ive got all the bits waiting apart from the adaptor plate 
After having a measure up it seems the inlet manifold makes the engine to tall to fit the hole  Has any one got any pics to prove otherwise 
Looking to keep the 15 deg angle with a Kennedy kit

it's a 1.9 diesel from a mk3 Golf/Vento but the block and head, cam cover etc are all similar to your petrol engine. Looking at photos of PB engines on google, the inlet manifold doesn't seem to be any taller than the 1Y inlet manifold that I have. It fits in well with about 3/4 of an inch of clearance over head. This is mounted at 15 degrees. I can't see it working at vertical at all...

That's a fantastic help. Thanks very much. Really appreciate that.
We were looking at doing it at the 15 degree angle as we thought that is what was best. And how the adapter plate is set up!
