Got a problem with legacy turbo engine in my splitty, when I put the ignition on the fuel pump primes as it should then a loud rattling noise appears which has turned out to e the injectors firing constantly, they in turn drop the pressure in the rail and fire the pump up again, the only way to stop it was to disconnect the injectors.
I'm getting a fault code 13 and 44, the first Ida can sensor fault I'm sure, if I disconnect the sensor I still have the same symptoms, can any one shed any light on this problem or know why the injectors pulse constantly with out the engine turning?

Do you know the injectors are permanent live on one side? Could be the case that when your loom has been converted something has gone amiss. Either that or one/ all of them have gone faulty and are grounding out to earth. It's that or your ecu isn't playing ball.
