Hey Guys,
Fitted a AGG engine into my lawn mower T25 but finding that the gearbox (a DH) is too short to mount on the engine.
I think i'll be able to fabricate a plate to bring the gearbox forward but what's the best way to extend the gear linkage?
Thanks

Could you cut and put a sleeve of tubing over the rod going back from the front of the van. Get it welded up then to keep the sleeve on.
This is a tie rod extendable sleeve.
You could cut the gearshift rod and put something like this over it.
And tighten away. You wouldn't be using a the threads in this piece.
Obviously if you can weld or get it welded. It's better to stitch it up with a mig welder. |

Thanks for the reply.
Think it's worth a go. I can borrow a mig welder so shouldn't be too hard to cut and shut. Might to worth finding out the exact measurements though. Will have a look about
Cheers
