Hi everyone, I'm fitting a n/a EJ20 into my 1973 twin slider T2 camper.. The camper still has a mile of welding to be done but I'm starting the mechanical side to give me a break the body work.

So.. 1st silly question.. VW 6 rib 091 gearbox mated to a n/a EJ20 engine..
Do I need to weld the clutch cross shaft to strengthen it? |

2nd. Can anyone tell me where I can get the left side clutch cross arm bush for the 091 gearbox please?
OK. sorted this one/found the parts

Welcome to the club!!!
I've got ej20 turbo in my notch with a Subaru gears conversion and there is no way I could ever go back..... (Although I've just bought a jx turbo cheetah which may as well be lawn mower  )
What year ej20? Oh and best of luck with the conversion too. My friend is just about finishing a ej20 turbo and Subaru gears into a 79 bay too.

Hello Kai, thanks for the welcome
I'm only just starting this conversion as I still have loads of body work to finish.
It's a 2001 EJ20 n/a with a 091 6 rib box.

i'll follow you on here and TLB - i'm picking my stuff up on Sunday, EJ20 N/A, 091 to go in the back of my doka. Its pretty quick (in relative terms when compared with a lawn mower) now as I have a 2 litre aircooled with dells and decent exhaust so it has plenty of torque and its light going scooby to propel me on towards a USB sticker hopefully...
