Howdy from across the pond (Alaska). I was all set to follow Busaru's youtube directions on twin radiators under the rear air vents on my 75 bay window, when it became obvious he and everyone else I've seen with a similar set up began running into issues after driving for long periods of time. Furthermore I would like to retain that space for the batteries. So after already installing the mounts I decided to go under the body.

This is the radiator I ended up with (only one my FLAPS had today and I need to get this swap moving!). My question is, should I run a line from that fill tube up to an expansion tank in my engine bay that sits higher than everything else, or should I block this off and run an expansion tank and fill area mid piping in between my intake manifold and the radiator?

Thanks,

Divo!

H

I run my Beetle using only the fill piont (T25 bottle) in the engine bay, my radiator does have bleed hose that I can open to let air out otherwise its capped. You cant use the existing radiator bleed that you have now as that is after the cap sealing, so maybe a hose in one of the lines at the radiator that you could lift up high to burp the system

I ended up using a hose from a dodge that had a fill point at the highest point already, score! You can sort of see it in this pic.
