Hello everyone , a newbie with a question hope you can help.
I have a T25 with a legacy conversion. Trying to decode the engine fault lights codes.
I have the links to the codes so that is all good.
My question is when I reset the codes , both by battery disconnect overnight , and by the method of green and black connectors connected and driving etc.
When I re run the fault codes post reset I get a continous flashing mangement engine light . Steady signal , no interupts. Black connectors connected etc.
What does this indicate , no current faults in the ECU ?
When I create a fault to check , example disconnect engine coolant sensor I get a code 21 - - . So it seems to generate codes.
Just need to understand if I need to be concerned ref the continous flashing engine light when black connectors attached.

not sure.
but if you disconnect the black ones and the green does the check engine light up when you turn the ignition key and turns off when the engine is started? if so there are no erros and stop worriying;) and enjoy your conversion;) |

Thanks when green and black connectors are disconnecteed and I turn the key there are no fault lights shown. Only shown when black connectors connected. I like the idea of no ecu faults but I think it unlikely as engine when warmed up stutters and runs worse than it did when running from cold.
Any thoughts ? |

i`m not sure what that is but not every hickup has a check engine code..
but if cold it runs good and when warm not. maybe the engine doesn`t get enough fuel or to much air. |

thanks thats what I am thinking. Plugs look very black when I take them out.
Any advice on next steps ? |
