I have a 2lt 6 rib box with a 0.70 4th (DK converted to fit a bay) and would like advice on fitting it in my 72 bay window which is fitted with a 2.1lt oxyboxer, would 0.70 4th be too tall for the engine ? or would it be better to fit a 2lt DK box with 0.82 4th which I have also. which box do I go with?

I would go with the longest 4th gear. It is always nice to have a bit longer legs. on top of this, it is just fourth gear. The engine has to work harder pulling up than keeping it up to speed. So a longer fourth would be less demanding for the engine compared to a longer 1st.
In my opinion, it is not to much effort to swap boxes so you could just test them both?

| Thanks for the reply, I'll do as you suggest, and as you point out its not such a big deal to swap boxes if the engine can't cope. cheers |

Hi Tony sorry for the delayed reply, done a couple of trips with the 0.70 box
so far and I'm thinking of sticking with it, one more trip in a couple of weeks
and I'll decide which one.
where abouts are you?
