brand new off phil, never fitted

since ordering the adapter I bought a td t25 karmann cheetah in germany and my bay is promised to a mate who don't wanna diesel motor so the kit is for sale. No idea what the difference between the peugeot and citroen flywheels are so I don't know if you can fit it on a pug

I also have a xantia 1.9td engine that was gonna be my spare, it had only done 80k with full history but has sat in my shed since june, the pump needs changing for a full mechanical one.
Can't guarantee the engine but it's free if you can pick it up

Hello peugeot and citroen ( PSA GROUP ) flywheels the same on most diesels and will fit 1.9 petrol's ,,, I ALSO THINK THAT THE ENGINEER PUT AN EXTRA BRACKET IN THE KIT so you will have one chanel milled to fit rear engine mount
one plate with angle welded on offside mount
+ one angle about 8" with three holes in , this is the one thats for the t25 , fits the engine cradle ,
+adapter plate
and flywheel with centre bearing

your kit will fit splity, bays n t25 , or like scrapheap chalenge a beetle any other with that type of box realy

what year is xantia , if not HDI then its just the antitheft device that needs taking off , and then fit the old solernoid ( magnetic ) fuel cutout unit
one day you might wished you fitted it to your cheetar even if your thinking of fitting a vw tdi 'lol'

true, but I've got your number

The conversion in the bay was only for mpg anyway and the cheetah is giving 40mpg at the moment so thats good enough for me, I've got the racecar for speed if I feel the need.

Both xantia motors were of 1994 vintage, one had the bosch pump and ecu to control it, the other had been heavily modified by a wealthy chav which I sold to buy the cheetah

Hello the xantia fuel pump , that you have , i could get it going on the floor , in two hours , using just three wires
the antitheft shield needs removing to take off the ECU , then fit the old type shut off unit , when you take the shield off there is a 2mm roll pin you need to knock this out , if not you can snap the aloy housing round the fuel adjusting screw 'like i did on one , a right angle drill would be handy , and easy out ,, or good old small sharp chisel
to remove the snap bolts

but you could use a pump off a 405 1.9 td ,

yeah I was gonna use the pump off a pug coz the citroen ecu controlled the fast idle, injection timing, egr and glow plugs and most of these would have to be adapted to the wiring in the van. There was no 'easy' way to chop into the harness for all the sensors and ecu.
It was gonna be easy to swap my semi-electronic pump for a mechanical one on the peugeot/citroen forum anyway. Grin

YOU SURE ITS A 94 AND NOT A 97 , i've done ones from peugeot 406's before to fit into t25's , and have been ok to do , + i had a 1995 xantia many years ago and it was not like the one you mention , MIGHT HAVE HAD LUCAS pump and egr

I bought a manual for it and did all my research to get a non leccy engine so you can imagine my shock when I got the car, after some panic postings on the pug/citroen forum they just said all the manuals and dates are crap.
I broke the car on e-bay and that was hilarious, the seat belt tensioner controller box was under the centre console which took me a day to find and it only got worse.

sorry, the car was a '96, my daughter was born in '94

over on the far left you can just see the grey connector going into the ecu

Grin bit of a change over year pump still looks likle one ive done before , dont need wires on the throtle spindle , does it have wires going to two efv's on the lower part of the pump , ive ran one with these off to , dont get as much fuel boost for when turbo kicks in
sodd it will work just as well with the old 405 pump M8
