Good idea mate

38, zero no claims cos they don't take bike NCD into account and my bus and bug are insured on "Classic"

78 bus, EJ20 NA, 6000 limited, 3.8K value - £340 (£200 pre conversion)
I should have gone to Flux apparently.

Not got full insuance yet (only TPFT) as still in the project build, but I did get a quote from Volksworld insurance underwritten by HIC at last years Volksworld show and:

31 years old, no points, 12 years NCB, unlimited milage, £360 full comp, agreed value of £18,000 and that was with ALL the mods declared, living in Devon, no points, garaged with Tracker fitted.
If I get the misses as a named driver then it jumps to £410 as she has no NCB and 3 points

I didn't think that too bad as I have owned/riden sports bikes since the age of 17 and trying to get insurance for under £500 has always been hard going.

OUCH..... just recieved my renewal notice from Flux, £ 660

Split camper with EJ22.

I'm 50. 12 years no claims, limited to 3000 miles, agreed value of 14.5K, no points, garaged and all mods declaired.

It is fully comp, but still a bit steep.

Anyone got susgestion on who else to try?

Hi curumba that seems steep

Found one of my threads from another forum last time I renewed mine worth giving the other companies a go to see what they say....

Just had my insurance renewal through for £203 from Adrian Flux and thought I'd phone round for a few other quotes and found the best I got was with Jardine Faber for £188. Phoned Adrian Flux and they instantly said they would do it for £178.

Thus this would suggest that Adrian Flux will drop on their renewal prices... so don't just accept it

In case anyone is looking for quotes you might wanna try these :-

Footman James 0845 458 6781
Sureterm Direct 0870 20 20 230
Jardine Faber 01604 639011
Firebond 0870 4440556
AON 08705 70 80 90
Liverpool Victoria 0800 607 607

Had my bus with Footman James before taking it off the road, standard it was £150ish agreed to 3k, three points 30yrs old. No idea what it would be with a modded engine but they are very helpfull etc. Anyone tried them with mods declared?
