Is there an optimum diameter for the pipes to and from the rad? And is copper pipe considered good or bad?

The big it is the better cooling you will have as there is more water in the system. I've always got pipe the same size as the radiator in and out. _________________ www.faltownskateboards.com |

You can't go wrong if you stick to the size VW used in the T25 - 38mm (1 1/2").
Copper is prettybad - see this page on my site http://www.rjes.com/html/material_choice.html _________________ Regards,
