metal removal

before i wade in with the angle grinder,i thought i'd ask what bits do i need to cutout of my engine bay being an early bay with the removable panel.
also is there a reason not to use vw engine mounting points?

The eng mounts on a late bay are in the wrong place for a nice, clean EJ20 install

for me the mounts were too far back - and TBH I found it easier to start from scratch.

grinder at the ready, sun is now shining.

i think i'll make it from sratch so remova of vw engine hangers and the rearpane mount
wil need to speak to rjes about adaptor mite aswel order new throttle cable.

would po up tsr but my cars of road guess beanie is the uy we were talking too when i was up there?

shame my plasma cutter's totaled.....
