The air filter housing is vw but off a later bay just fitted in well.

no but what i can remember the engine sat at the same sort of angle as the pug engine sits in a bus had a look on ebay , not much on there ,,,,,,,

Yes all wiring is in two speed twin fans ect, What I am looking for is the wiring control for the pump advance , if I put 12v + to it, engine runs smoother on tickover but after 20 or 30 seconds it start mis a bit. I have a diagram for 1994 and have wired up as that, but the xantia pump was later type so I just wanted to see a later Diagram.

well den a think the might be a diagram on the web as ppl have pointed this out to me regarding other vehicles ,,,, i've tried running with a live running from the main fuel shut off valve to the '' pump advance '' was not sure if thats what it was or exess fuel ,, never thought it made any difference , so just ran it without

ayup phil, try sear ching for an fso polonez on fleabay - doubt there will be many left as i seem to remember top gear hated them as much as caravans!

i just wire up whats there vdub to pug then make the rest up ,, top tip run a trailer flex from the cab to the engine bay

Had a look through my manuals tonight and can't find the Xantia one, someones borrowed it and not returned it I'm afraid.
