I got a Succer. Yer I was at bude it was very wet and we had a full on tail wind so it was full of carnage on the course!

The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.
Your experiences are worth shed loads to others, including the f'ups - live and learn.
Wouldn't YOU rather learn by someone else's mistakes? So would they.

Judging by Riches new blue rinse hair style and blue eye liner I reckon he did Grin

He sprayed it last night whilst I was prepping/spraying (with cans) the tinware... not ready for big boys spraying yet

Have to say he has taken to this spraying mullarky like a duck 2 h2o the blue had no runs and looked really good under artificial light... hopefully an hour without rain should see the top done.

Still need to prep and spray doors/hatches, bumper, grill but with any luck we should be

by next weekend.

Rich, you should make yourself a large hat out of an old carrier bag and masking tape to cover your head,ears and neck area. Works a treat m8 and no more needing to wash your hair in paint thinners..... I learnt the hard way years ago when I went completly Ford Diamond White after the first paint job I did

. Took a long time for that to go away I can tell you

thanks for all the comments chaps - id like to think I could do it better with some more time and care - the photos do it a loit of justice Grin

but at least there arent lots of runs which was my main worry. Hopefully if the weather stays good sunday should see the roof painted then I can get back to me own van and house projects!

Having now sprayed the bus can anybody recommend what we need to do next.. should we be polishing.. tcut etc.. it ?

Hi

What type of paint have you sprayed your van in 2k, celly ect ?
But if you have sprayed it well nice even shine without dry patches, and then no need to do any buff / T cutting.
If it does not have a good shine but is flat and smooth, when the paint is hard celly 24 to 48 hours, you can buff or T cut, 2k I would give a bit longer.
If you have some or all dry paint flat with 800 wet & dry paper , wet with fairy liquid, then duff or T cut.
Do not put wax on paint until you know you have finished all paint work for a week or two just in case you may need to touch in some small parts you may have missed, wax and paint do not mix.
It’s looking good and as long as you put lots of paint on you can all ways take some off and make it flat and shine.
