We're about to change the engne and box in our T25, using an AAZ engine and AAP box.
I want to change the clutch while it's all out, but don't know which clutch it's best advised to use. I hear talk of 228mm being the preferred choice?
Any idea's or what's best, what will fit (more importantly) and where to buy it from?

Cheers!

Thanks for all the advice that's been given - most gratefully received!

I now have a new box ready to install, and have aquired a 1Y engine also (later engine with 1.9 D/TD cast into the block), so should be OK for my JX turbo.

I've stripped the 1Y down to the block and head more or less and most of my JX stuff is a straight swap.
Only sticking point I can see is the pump. I believe the 1Y pump has some degree of ECU control so it's not going to be any good in my van (don't have the ECU).
Proposed solution it to fit the JX pump. The engine is in great shape so I'd like to use it if I can.
Anybody got any experience or advice before I take the plunge? I've had some great help on the subject already (many thanks - you know who you are!), but just want to be belt and braces on this.
Don't want to have to take it all out again if it's no good in the long run!

Many thanks,
Chappy.
