my ins used to be collectors policy but its now classed as trader ,,,,, at the moment i have 7 vehicles on it ,,,, 306d ,, splity ,,, buggy ,,,,, 3 t25's ,,,,,, cherokee jeep ,,, for this i pay about £500 TPFT ,, would not cover me honda chally because its over 50cc

I'm with some firm called Equity via Adrian Flux. I have a guaranteed value of £35k, 5k limited miles and ALL mods listed of which there is an extensive list. These were the cheapest I could find and cost £490. However, any previous years no claims discounts are disregarded and whether I make any claims or not I don't build up a no-claims discount with them. Strange huh?

Adrian Flux wanted £ 660 to renew my policy

Bit steep i thought, so following advice from jp spent some time on the phone, most were not interested as soon as I mentioned the Subaru engine
but Roadsure ( 0845 408 0016 ) were very helpfull and came up with a like for like policy for £300

Went back to Flux armed with my new quote and suprise, suprise they reconsidered and came up with £ 309 inc Uk & european breakdown cover. as I am planning a trip sur la coninent next sunner that'll do nicely

Moral of the story, shop around.
