Hi there been reading the site over the past months and decided to do the first post. i was wondering it you could adapt the beetle and donor cars bell housings to include the adaptor so taking away the need to change the shaft, has this been done? also when working out the clutch what should i look out for. Thinking either any diesel block which would be nice and eco to run or a vauxhall block for a fun second motor. Im on a budget but have time.

Hows it work without changing the shaft if you dont mind me asking also hows the clutch setup. does a bug box have ne problem handling the power or would it be an upgrade to a van box. Is the wiring a problem?
