Right a BIG thanks( ) goes to rich for giving me the link to this site... ( the missus is on a war path and is after your blood!!)

What was going to be just a slammed bay, happily chugging away in it's lawn mower way, tucked up behind lorries on the motorway is now in for a watercooled lashing...
( engine content is subject to change almost hourly )

Plan at the mo is for 16v volks power... should really be going diesel as the bus is going on a european vacation as soon as the house sells ( oh and the bus is done...)

Was looking for a t25 diesel, a few beers and ebay later!!! Oh and £1200 lighter.... yeah i got some funny looks driving it the 185 miles home

tried hammering it out ( going for the rat look!!)

Brother-in-law said i was a burke.... new panel arrives mon 11th..

NO not mine dude, thats my brother-in-law at his workshop that he shares.. The car belongs to one of them, only no ones been near it for some time..

Last year the missus bought a traveller off ebay, had plans for metro turbo power, ( mainly for a dump valve )it sat on the drive for a good 8 months just looking sad for it's self, i came home from work one day and she had sold it... A week later she wanted another one

This is how she looked monday morning

I gave him a hand yesterday to level the panel up and by four it was tacked on...but i forgot the camera...monkey

Got to try and trace the last owner to find out who re-sprayed it need to get the code for that blue!!. in the meantime it's going to be white...

Before you ask..
yes were leaving the mangled vents as they are for the time being and it wont be running a bumper, not that i dont want them replaced but due to nearly killing myself ( i fell off a roof and managed to land on a rusty 6inch piece of metal which embodied it's self into my stomach...monkey) ive been off work the last two and a half months...
This is the main reason we got the van..after deciding lifes to short and all that were selling the house and taking the little one travelling round europe for a bit ,,well untill she has to start school anyway..

yeah back to those panels.basically at the moment i cant afford them so they are going to have to wait!! everything that needs to be done for mot will be as the bus is needed asap ( if the house sells we may have to live in it!!)....... so if you see this bus in a layby with the rear jacked up, thats where im doing my engine conversion...... i think ive drunk too much coffee this morning.. im going for a lie down..

Hmm Rich Baker I don't have the Morris Minor I have a Morris MO instead, 1953 vintage wih sidevalve engine and loads of room. My friend who shares the unit with me has a MM minor and a Traveller so we're fairly inundated what with the 2 buses as well.

Sorry to hijack the post, the rebuild of the front end looks like its progressing well.

Regards Pepper

Rich, Love to see some pics of your Moggy m8... I've always had a soft spot for them. Can you remember Nick Manns V8 Minor in street machine years ago... WOW, what a beast.
