Help identifying kit... apparently ford conversion

I have spotted this kit for a few pennies which im pretty keen on..
but it says its for pintos and cvh engines.. but not sure how it would go together.. where would my starter motor fit? apparently uses vw starter and input shaft...

No idea what kit that one is.
Starter motor would stay on your VW gearbox but I'm not sure about using the standard input shaft

Can't see how it would still be long enough to fit into the crank bearing.
Most adaptorplate kits I've seen for Fords use release bearing spacer, ford starter and an extended input shaft.

How easy is it to replace the input shaft?

Turboing a none turbo engine is too costly for me tbh.. I wanted an already turbo'd motor.
Pinto I suppose is the next best thing..

But that unknown kit above still needs an extended input shaft? I asked the chap again and he said no, it should just bolt up to the gearbox.. But bare in mind he hasn't fitte it to the project he was doing

Mine uses the standard input shaft and a T25 Clutch Plate so sounds feasible to me.

Mine also uses the ford Starter which is a bonus.

I do have a spigot bearing that holds the shaft in the engine so to speak.

So I've got

Ford Flywheel
Ford Pressure Plate
VW Clutch

mmm.. i have no idea what parts are in the kit above.. dont think he does either.. i think i'd need to use a ford starter..but he said vw..???
he wants £100 for that kit.. is it worth risking in buying it?

Did you try calling famous Phil for his kit in the for sale section? Personally I'd rather go with that set up and use the Ford starter.

him..That other kit may be ok, but it's the not knowing if it'll fit which is the prob
