Great to meet some of you guys at long last and I'm sure we can find room for you at other shows either with the Covin or Durham Dubbers club so please just ask me if you fancy coming to any future events that we'll be at.
Cracking job on the VWKD banner Steve, it took me by surprise that's for sure
JP... Really good to meet you m8 and I'll be wearing the VWKD Tee Shirt with pride at our next Durham Dubbers club meet. Should go down well
Sorry I missed you Kev, we came over a few times to have a chat but you were out and about. Had a good look at your Bus though, great job you've done m8 and hope to catch up with you another time eh ? _________________ DARREN

Good show!
Had an enjoyable weekend and put some faces to handles, though I did miss a few of you. It was such a huge event it was easy to miss people
There seemed to be a lot of interest in alternative engines, handed out loads of VWKD cards, so expect an increase in questions on the forum.
Had my T shirt on all weekend and didn't get threatened once, and its the first show that I have been to that I got no negative comments about the conversion. Are we becoming acceptable?
Hopefully next season there will be even more of us

well done to all that flew the VWKD flag handing out cards, wearing Ts,and just being there.....im gutted i missed it...who knows maybe my van will make it next year.
i defo think theres a gradual realisation that alt. engines are the way to go...so hopefully VWKD will be bigger the VZI one day |

yep, we had a crackin time too. it was amazing that half the people asking me about the diesel conversion said they just couldnt afford to use their bus as they were just so uneconomical.
i had a good chat with the guys who were breaking t25's all weekend too, they all run 2.1td's on their own adaptor plates. by the sound of it this conversion is becoming more and more popular.........i might even try it.
all this after;
1. learning to weld.
2. sorting out the bodywork on the van.
3. learning to spray.
4. spraying the van.
5.sorting the cooling
6. install 2.1td!
estimated completion christmas 2011.

Like to say a big thanks to y'all for dishing out the cards, wearing the Tees flying the VWKD flag (literally in Elusives case)
Great to meet some of you at long last on my flying visit to the show... time to crack on with the bus now ready for the shows next year.

I did comment to Dan that we matched, or did he comment to me? _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.
