It should fit in the engine bay fine but I can't remember the component layout on this engine so you'd need to check to see if anything would be difficult to get to once installed.
Most of the Ford engines like the X-Flow, Pinto, CVH, Zetec, V4 & V6 use the shame gearbox bolt pattern

| Nice one.. There is an engine near me for sale.. Thought it might be ok.. Doesn't look anything near the flywheel.. Even the inlet manifold would face the back of the van if it was in |

Hi, just to chip in here - I bought an adaptor some time ago to fit a Ford motor in my bug before I decided to go with the Subaru. The bolt pattern was the same on pinto's, cvh's & zetecs, but be wary as some newer engines have engine timing(Crank) sensors fitted to the back of the block and pick up a signal from the flywheel - If the flywheel in this kit doesn't have the slots in the back for the sensor then you could end up with a lot more expense than expected!.  |

| Good point!! Think I may stick to a pinto engine actually.. Keep it simple unless I go the scooby route |

| If you've got the room to fit it then it's prob better as parts are cheap and they are quite robust and reliable - fit some bike carbs on a custom manifold and you should see at least 120bhp (std 2.0ltr) - thats what all the kitcar builders are doing. |
