Converted to Toyota 4age 16v Smallport motor.
Running GM brakes all round, 4inch narrowed beam and adjsutable spring plates. Sitting on T5 steelies!!!
Current cooling is a belly mounted SAAb 9000 radiator!!

Hi, I'm Matt.
I have an original 1959 Splitscreen Peruvian Ambulance Kombi van, imported in late 2012. (nice rot free driving example which even had an MOT slapped on in the UK).
I also have the remains of a 2003 Impreza 2.0 N/A that I broke last year, having bought the whole car which had been T-boned for £700.
I have been collecting bits for a while, these include:
Suspension from Red9 Design (yep, full front and rear wishbone setup and big brakes all round), Kennedy adapter kit bought direct, Bear motorsports rebuilt gearbox, RJES wiring loom all made up, a set of porsche 944 15" spare alloy wheels, a set of 911/924 porsche spare steel wheels and a few other bits and bobs.
Now I just need to get the rest of the bits and put it all together ! So far I've just started stripping the rear of the van down and started putting the original bits on ebay.
I hope to create a proper daily driver - something that starts, goes, corners and stops like a modern drive, but looks pretty standard. I may well take the Ambulance heritage a bit further and sign-write it again too
