Connecting two rads together

I am doing a 1967 TDI SPlit coverstion and have managed to get Two rads underneath my van...

The problem i am having is connecting the two .... or more like which way to conect them... and to ensure they dont get air locks in them...

Do i run the engine line to the center pair then connect the two out one together... or

Coneect the outer pair and the try and find a short piece of hose that will connect the center pair all advice appreciated....;

Or and i need some kind of bleeding system...

i would run them in series with a short conector between the two , i would also but a bleed point on the top of the conector this will be the only place air may gather.

I agree, engine outlet to top, link middle pipes, return from lowest pipe. Definitely add a bleed point in the short link..

What every you do do not use a y pieca to conect em both together-it does not work I've tryied it-what happens is one rad seems to do all the work and the other doesnt do much at all. Far better to plum the two rads together and have one leading into the other-this works.

Thanks for the advice can anyone recommend a good place to buy pipe work

from needs to be 32mm and in 2m lengths and some sort of breather/ bleeding system...

Try Pirtek. We have a local place called Argabridge (Strood in Kent) who have loadsa different bore Gates hose too.

Hyp-Hose is good or have a look down your local scrapyard you can get all sorts of bends and twists.
