Hi Joel

You have to get some paint mixed up to spray down the dummy pipe, if its too black people will tell you that its running rich on one side Laugh Out Loud

This is a muffler I used on my daily/sons 1303, its a twin inlet & outlet with a 180 bend on one end.

Steve

Hi Joel

I miss the old grey exhaust pipes that we got with leaded fuel, you do could so much diagnosis just by looking at your tailpipe.

Hey Kai, nice big muffler! Grin

I am now considering a muffler of a Toyota Rav 4. These might fit under my rear apron.
Some pictures ripped from the internet:

As you can see, the inlet is in a strange place on this muffler. But it might connect nicely with my spaghetti exhaust manifold:

It exits in the middle (you can see the 4 bolts).

Does anybody know the dimensions of a Toyota Rav 4 II muffler ??
(build date 06-2000 till 02-2006)

OK, after searching the classifieds for second hand mufflers for way to long, I finally bought this:

A new bugpack hideout muffler.

And a day later it looked like this:

I'll post pictures when it's finished (see this page for more details).

Wouldn't it be a nice idea to make this thread a sticky? Just like the radiator thread?
