I'm thinkinhg of having a bid on http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-SUBARU-IMPREZA-WRX-TURBO-BLACK-Damaged-Salvage_W0QQitemZ370047302746QQihZ024QQcategoryZ18277QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
this. What sort of power would this engine have and do you guys think it'd be worth buying something like this if i can get it for close to the starting price?
Most people i have spoke to recomend getting a full car.
Thanks Ian.

seems a little expensive to me, as once you take the engine/loom/ecu etc you wont make a massive ammount back from breaking it.

getting a whole car does make life easier as you dont have the hassle of finding all the right bits, but its probably not a lot cheaper in the long run. I got a '93 wrx (had been rolled, so pannel damage all round) with 34k on the clock for £950.
