hi folks ive done it ive created a monster.my early bay 2.2 is fitted and is now breathing all ive got to do now is connect all cables and service brakes should be on road for later 2day ........  _________________ Sutton in Ashfield .Nottinghamshire

thanks everyone just took her for her first run wow ,wow,and double wow thats fun she run sweet as a nut apart from expansion bottle bubbling over but i think thats just trapped air working its way out(i hope).what gagues are you guys running think i need some..  _________________ Sutton in Ashfield .Nottinghamshire

Hi
Glad it all works ok, did you get the cold start sorted?
Bubbling may mean head gasket (sorry) but its not too bad a job.
I ran a temp guage from vehicle wiring products and a warning light for the oil (I think I left that wire labled up for you.) If the head gasket is gone you'll soon see as it will overheat.
Other than that just have fun and keep polishing the exhaust.

just yook her out for about an hour and no bubbleing o hopefully not head gasket no scoop on yet and fan wasnt on all the time so things are looking up apart from mot tomorrow will get rest of pics on soon
