Hello again,
I think i have found the correct place to post queries not regarding engines!
I am about to put on the rear passenger side wheel arch repair panel - the small panel that replaces the lower section just behind the sliding door. Has anyone got any tips?
The inner sill has also totally gone so I shall be make this up, boxing in the outrigger etc and stitching it all together. However I am unsure as to how the actual replacement panel fits.
It has a lip around the front edge and also the bottom edge - on my van it appears that the front lip will need to be removed??
its all a bit confusing, but then I have not delved too far into it as yet.
Thought I would ask first |

I made my own panel for this area out of sheet metal. I'm not sure exactly what you mean about the "Front Lip" can you not post a picture as this will make things much easier m8.
At the end of the day any panel that looks right when fitted is right....lol
Could the front lip not be for where it goes into the sliding door pillar surround ?
Here's a picture of mine before the home made panel was fitted to try and give you some idea . . . .
