Hello everyone
I hope I am not doing anything wrong or to offend here, please tell me if I am.
My name is Ken and I have recently started a business specialising in used Subaru Impreza parts. Parts can be bought online at www.subaru-impreza-parts.co.uk
I have just supplied a kit to a customer for a subaru conversion, and discovered there is an enthusiast community not just for the vw rear engined vehicles, but for Subaru powered ones
I think it is great that these engines are being used, being a Subaru Impreza enthusiast myself. I have had Subaru Imprezas for over 10 years and have loved them all.
I have seen a number of threads about obtaining the parts required for a conversion and believe I can help in a couple of ways.
Firstly, the obvious one, is I can supply the Subaru parts for a conversion as a complete kit. That would be everything needed from a Subaru Impreza:
Engine complete with inlet manifold, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, all the sensors, igniter, mass air flow sensor, intake pipe, charcoal filter, clutch, flywheel, starter motor, gearbox to engine bolts, engine mountings, alternator and both brackets, exhaust manifold, lambda sensor, complete wiring loom including any immobiliser parts for a non-turbo. Turbo, headers, boost solenoid as well for a turbo version.
Secondly, as I am also interested in buying Imprezas for breaking, I would be able to offer you a deal on your donor car. If you buy a donor car complete then I would be happy to strip it for you and give you all the parts you need in return for the remains of the car. Or if you have a donor car already and have removed the bits you need then I may be interested in buying what you have left.
Finally, it's not all about business. I know quite a bit about Subaru Imprezas and am happy to help people with questions on engines and stuff if I can, or to point people in the direction of information they need, so please feel free to ask me by posting or sending a message / email.

Sounds good Ken, i'm not sure about the advertising in this section but if you can help people i dont think its a problem. What sort of prices are you thinking of offering the "kits" for? Just for reference i payed 300 GBP for a 94000 mile, 96, 2L auto, N/A legacy estate, delivered to my door and fully MOT'd!. (ebay).
