| Is there a complete conversion kit I can order?? I have a 2.2 L subaru engine to put in my 78 bus. was wondering if I can just get a kit and take that to a garage to have it changed over as easily as possible. I live in BC, Canada... |

Short answer, no. Not with RJESs kit
I have a 78 and had to modify part of the chassis where the gearbox hanger is.
You'll need to do this to use Rich's bellhousing and a Subaru starter motor _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.

Thanks for the enquiry. There can not really be such a thing as a standard 'off the shelf' kit as quite a lot of parts vaey depending on exactly what age and specification engine and VW you have. Given enough details I can put you a list of all the relevant parts together. For the T25 / Vanagons I can provide pretty much all the parts needed for the more common conversions, but at the moment I don't have as big a range of arts to suit bays available. _________________ Regards,
