Subaru WRX 240 bhp complete conversion
This setup was out of my 59 Split, I took the engine out to sell the van to part fund my wedding. I was sad to take it out, starts on the button, drives so nice, big smile on my face every time went out for a drive.
-1995 Subaru WRX engine, low mileage. (so the supplier said)
-240 bhp ecu, loom all sorted and connections labelled.
-Custom exhaust manifold for ground clearance.
-Short and fat sump.
-Inlet manifold welded up and polished.
-Charge cooler (but no pump or radiator)
-Custom turbo piping for minimal cutting of engine bay.
-Re-circulating dump valve.
-Kennedy adaptor and flywheel.
-Kennedy clutch cover and plate.
-Stainless steel single silencer exhaust.
-Fuel pump and cb performance T piece for fuel tank return.
-Radiator, fans and mounting bracket.
-Reverse water pipe, top of engine.
In my bus this setup did run a little hot in the summer, but that’s my fault for running the van so low. I nearly bought a T25 to put this engine in, as this would solve any cooling concerns and I just love the engine. But I have set my heart on restoring an early 911.
